We must become the change we want to see
This section is aimed at getting the mind engaged, so that you can realise what needs to be done within your current chosen lifestyle to achieve your fitness & lifestyle goals and become the person that you want to be.
This involves engaging your brain into realising that the life you are currently living is not a dress rehearsal! I hear you all saying “Yeah yeah I’ve heard it all before”, well you might have heard it, but you weren’t in a mindful state and obviously didn’t absorb it because if you did you wouldn’t be doing the same thing and expecting a different result!
You need to place yourself in the moment and take a long hard look at yourself, your life choices, and things about yourself that you’re not happy with and focus on what needs to be done to become the person that you have always dreamt about. Then act on it, not think about, but actually do something about it. Scary eh?
Now bear in mind that the reason you are in your current situation is because you have made consistent bad choices, that’s a little tough to swallow, but usually the case 99% of the time. So all you have to do is make consistent good positive choices to reach your lifestyle goal. This does not mean that you have to change who you are, what you are and what you enjoy doing; it just means that you have to bring all your good points and bad points back into balance to achieve happiness within yourself.
This takes an element of you being absolutely honest with yourself about where you let yourself down and most importantly where in your life you excel and are successful.

From the above list you can establish where you excel and where you hinder your progress in becoming the person that you want to be. If you take a good look, they are all usually linked and affect one another; Incorrect lifestyle = Stress = Bad health decisions = unhappy with self = lack of confidence = Don’t participate in what you enjoy = more stress! Vicious circle.
